« on: April 08, 2010, 09:46:34 PM »
hey guys, i know its been a realllly long time since ive been on here, sorry, ive been really busy and not busy all at the same time trying to get my truck going, lost my job at mobil 1 really put a damper on fixing the dodge back up. for those of you that might be new here, im the diversity of the group, to the rest of you.....ya we all know the big loud annoying truck haha. Tom, hope you have enjoyed the honkings passed your house once or twice a month. so, with the truck i blew a tranny, got it rebuild, blew a bad torque converter and this weekend will be getting it rebuilt again, then i have to do a hub bearing, weld front axle, and do a balljoint and might be able to drive it for a week or two till something else goes wrong. hoep everyone has had a good winter, hope to see all soon.

I've honestly almost quit checking in here, from the lack of posts.  As for Tom I think the ghosts got him.  I certainly haven't foresaken Land Rovers, mine has gotten Bottorf Fab front/rear bumpers and sliders.  New bushings, all new HD steering components.  I'm also working on a possible salisbury rear end and LT230 conversion.  When I get back from deployment, I've got a lot of work to do before I go the National Rallye.

My Rover is getting a set of Pangolin4X4 galvanized sliders and Carey Knause is designing a receiver  hitch mounted fuel can carrier/Hilift jack carrier. He is also rebuilding a steering box in prep for a bulkhead swap later this year.
