AUGUST 24th Meet: Chester

Hello Everyone. For those who are hankering for a simple event, I would like to explore the trails of Pomp on the 24th. Just a laid back ride. If you are interested, let me know so I can know who to expect. There will be coffe and donut holes before the ride. I would like to meet in the middle schools lot at 10AM. (I think thats the middle school near where they have the fireworks!!!) Some of you mentioned a night ride....but i have no black out lights as of yet!!! Tom

There are a couple more trails we haven't looked into yet. I could probably lead for a good part of the day around town. Maybe stop in behind my house and do a little clearing if anyone's up for it.

The other thing I'd like to do is map it all out with a GPS and create a topo map out of it. Maybe I'll do that this run.

I'm a no go for this one I will be in Texas. I've got orders in hand and just need to solve a small exhaust issue that came up on the saab. I'm all packed and ready to hit the road.

so anyone able to bend exhaust pipe and weld that thin shit....

midas or minakee will be your fastest and cheapest bet

Midas wouldn't do it without replacing the whole exhaust from the manifolds back and wanted $1100 to do it. I told them to stick it up thier tailpipe.

I can buy the whole exhaust with shipping and it's less than $400. I just need to patch it up for now or dump the muffler and run a straight pipe. Just to get to texas, then I can replace it all while I'm down there.

While you guys are on this run I think I'm going to be enjoying the scenery on the Corpus Christi beaches instead

idk if i can go, sat. is my grandfathers 75th birthday party, i will see if i can leave the cape house early and get up to hampstead before 10, if not i cant go always the trails i can fit on are the ones that i cant go on haha
